Joining the firm.

Selective recruitment, institutional requirements, absolute discretion.

01

A discipline of its own.

The work of a strategic analyst is neither that of a consultant nor that of a journalist. It demands a discipline of its own, rigour in the use of sources, intellectual honesty in the face of competing hypotheses, the capacity to defend an analysis over time. Joining Arden Cole means accepting that requirement as a precondition.

We work in duration. No mission is delivered for immediate performance, no analysis is written to please the commissioning party. The quality of our reading of the world is measured by its robustness in the face of subsequent events. This requirement calls for collaborators who accept that their work will be judged not at the moment of delivery but years later.

Confidentiality is not a contractual clause, it is a professional ethic. No collaborator's name, no client dossier, no identifiable reference ever leaves the firm. This discipline protects our commissioning parties and constitutes the foundation of the trust they place in us. It is strictly non-negotiable.

02

Profiles considered.

Strategic analysts. Profiles having served in public intelligence services, geopolitical analysis firms, strategic departments of financial institutions, or specialised editorial teams such as the Financial Times, Le Monde, the NZZ, the Economist Intelligence Unit. Methodological mastery required.

Thematic specialists. Experts in a precise domain: sanctions, cyber, energy, international law, sovereign finance, among others. Ability to articulate technical expertise and strategic reading. Several years of exposure to concrete files required.

Operational profiles. Profiles supporting analytical functions: documentation, reference translation, advanced bibliographic research, secured technical infrastructure. Discretion and rigour prevail over visibility.

03

Exclusive co-optation.

Arden Cole does not publish recruitment announcements and does not solicit applications through usual channels. We operate exclusively through co-optation: an active member of the firm, or a member of our external reference network, recommends a profile they know personally and whose methodological quality and ethical reliability they guarantee.

This mode of engagement reflects our conviction that no standardised recruitment process can substitute for prolonged personal knowledge of a collaborator. It also protects the profiles we engage, guaranteeing them an institutional environment that is demanding but coherent with their trajectory.

04

Spontaneous applications.

As of today, no position is publicly open. We process only applications co-opted by an active member of the firm or our reference network. If you nevertheless wish to bring your profile to our attention, you may submit a dossier via our contact form, specifying the mention « Application » in the subject of your message.

No application is processed by direct email or postal mail. This entry discipline is constitutive of our functioning.

05

Commitment of reciprocity.

Joining Arden Cole means accessing an environment that prioritises intellectual rigour, operational independence, and inscription in an international institutional trajectory. The firm is anchored in Switzerland but its mandates cover Europe and beyond, its commissioning parties are European and international, its main working register is trilingual.

Our collaborators benefit from analytical autonomy framed by our method, from access to first-rank institutional files, and from professional recognition that builds in duration rather than in immediate visibility.

Strategic Clarity.
